I am a Christian and one of my best friends is a gay man. He also is a Christian. He does not believe in gay marriage and also thinks that being gay is a sin. But he also knows that he is saved and will be going to Heaven. Again, as I have stated in several other answers, it doesn't matter whether you are gay, a bigot, or something else along those lines. If you are saved you will go to Heaven. We should all be loving and kind to everyone no matter what their beliefs are. God is a loving and kind God, not a hateful God that wants to send eveyone to Hell as so many people seem to think that some Christians believe.

There is no place in Christianity for gay people. I've never understood why any self-respecting gay person would want to be a part of it, for that reason.
If you are gay, and you do not feel that it is immoral, or that it is a choice, then obviously, the god described in the bible is not real. The Christian "god" has made it very clear that homosexuality is an abomination. Some people attempt to skew different verses to find a loophole, but the bible is exceedingly clear on this point.

God doesn't "hate" sinners...in fact, He loves sinners so very much, that He left Heaven to be born in a human body, and He died for them.
Consider the woman taken in adultery...what would have happened if it had been a man taken in the act of lying with another man?
The scene:
Jesus stands over the man, who is sobbing at His feet, clutching a scrap of cloth about himself to hide his nakedness from the crowd who are standing about waiting for Jesus to pronounce judgment on him.
Actually, this is a trap, and Jesus knows it. These men are not so concerned that the guy has broken the law as they are to find something to accuse Jesus of before the authorities.
They want to shut Him up...
But Jesus has a surprise in store for all of them...and for our gay friend, as well!
If Jesus pronounces him innocent, He has broken His own commandment, and the pharisees in the crowd will drag Him before the Sanhedrin and demand the death sentence.
If Jesus pronounces him guilty and directs the crowd to stone him, they will drag Him up before the Romans for murder...only Rome may pronounce the death sentence...
Jesus looks down at the man, His eyes full of compassion. He looks around at the crowd. He stoops down and writes in the dirt with His finger...
What is He writing?
I dunno...maybe names of the guy's other lovers??
Anyhow, after a bit, He stands and gazes at the crowd.
He opens His mouth...
"Let the one among you who is without sin, cast the first stone at him..."
Gasps of amazement fill the air, as the men in the crowd eye each other guiltily. Who will dare throw the first stone? Everyone here knows one another...
After a few minutes, we hear a thud, as the first stone hits the ground...then another, and another...the men have dropped their stones at their feet, and slunk off, unable to face each other...or Jesus...
Jesus reaches down and lifts the man to his feet.
"Where are your accusers?" He asks.
The man looks around, fear in his eyes.
"No man accuses me, Lord," he stammers...
Jesus smiles.
"Neither do I accuse you," He tells him.
The two stand face to face for a few minutes. The man looks into the Lord's face, and sees the love and compassion there...
"Now go," He cautions, "and sin no more!"
Yes, I believe it would have happened just that way...

God doesn't hate homosexuals. He hates sin. Christ tells us to "go and sin no more." This is what all of us should be doing, that includes homosexuals.
