At 14, you're kind of limited to jobs that would hire you for less than minimum wage. Don't expect more than 7.25$ an hour (maybe 7.50$, tops).

The best places to start (like it or not) are places like fastfood restaurants, or groceries stores. Bussing tables at a restaurant is probably your best option at your age.

Obviously you want a flexible job (since you're still 14, and is still in school), and something you can more or less see yourself do for the next few years, since you want to find a job and be able to build your salary up abit. So what I suggest is to start being a busperson at a restaurant (the pays are alright, the hours are usually good - and at some places you get tip-ins).

But on the other hand, if you want a job that will look good on applications for later jobs, a fastfood restaurant is your best bet (if, let's say, you're just trying to find a summer job). I worked at McDonald's for a summer, and it really does help on other job applications as it shows that you can work well fast, effectively and under pressure (since it's fast food).

Following that summer (because you really don't want to work at a fastfood joint during school year), I applied at a restaurant (Cora's). Have been working as dishwasher, and will probably be becoming cook this summer.

That's the site I use. I get about an extra $60-$150 a month. It's not one of those spam sites with unrealistic goals like $1500/month or anything but hey...an extra $150 helps right?!) At the end of the month you get a real paper check in the mail.
Go to my yahoo 360 page and read my blog about it for more info or message me if you want more information on it. It really is a good deal. AND it's free to sign up

He would not have understood a heavenly hope. Job lived in Uz somewhere in present day Arabia. He knew he would be remembered on the last day. Also the Hebrews as well thought of being resurrected on the 'last day' but not going to heaven. From what I can see, he knew that Jehovah would bring him back. The concept would be on earth not heaven. Interesting that he mentioned "keep me secret", "to set a time for him" and "I shall wait". No matter how much suffering he was going through he knew that he was faithful to God and would live again.

take care of pets, volunteer. Start reading the drivers education book, etc…I want you to focus on school and a social life with friends. You will be working for the rest of your life. Start researching colleges, grants, and scholarships.

Businesses cannot legally hire you at your age, despite Mom.
If baby-sitting is out, try pet-sitting or dog-walking.
Work must not interfere with your schooling.

Bussing tables at restaurants is a good first job - you get wages and tips, and it is usually good socially too!
