Yes, as sad as it is - some churches do not teach or talk about eternal condemnation. You know why? Because it may offend and keep someone from coming to their churches. However if a church is actually teaching this, they themselves are sending many a person to hell, including themselves. Speaking the truth in love, should not offend- it is much more offensive to lie.

Yes there are. I can't give you an EXACT percentage, but some recent stats I've seen show that approximately 5% of Christians are Universalists, which means they believe everyone will be redeemed. They typically take this stance because they understand that an all-loving God would not torture people.
There is also a view called annihilationism, which states that hell is not a place of eternal torment. In fact, they would say it's not even a place; just eternal death. Like Universalists, they take this stance because they understand that an all-loving God would not torture people; but at the same time, they also want to preserve the notion that wickedness needs to be punished.
Personally, I'd love to believe in Universalism, but I don't think there is enough Biblical support for it. I do believe in Annihilationism though, and find arguments for it to have good Biblical backing. It's a minority view, but it is growing a decent following and may challenge the traditional view of hell someday soon.

Yes, some Christians are universalists and believe that the unsaved suffer punishment for a limited time, but are eventually reconciled to God. Some are conditionalists/annihilationists, which means they don't believe that humans have immortal souls/spirits and only the saved get to live forever. The unsaved are eventually destroyed in the lake of fire in the end times and die the "second death", in which there can be no resurrection. Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists are two well known denominations that believe this. I believe that some Anglicans adhere to this doctrine as well.

Your submit is precisely why i do no longer go into the finished hell bit with those no longer of The Church... if those of The Church can no longer agree then how is one no longer of the Church to have any information... and that's the reason posts alongside with yours are counter efficient on places like YA... people who've come to God interior the way He prescribes and have gained His unfastened, and eternal, present of Salvation come to comprehend specific truths relating to the God stuff... yet all are nevertheless difficulty to an identical prejudices and "traditions" imposed by ability of the international... to many have Dante's concept-approximately hell and ignore approximately God's.... confusing...specific... and there is unquestionably a reading of Scripture which may well be taken so say those thrown into the lake of hearth are ate up and long gone... no longer tortured for eternity... yet because of the fact the 1st responder above states... there is different that asserts that's eternal... I lean greater to the lost being ate up and long gone... yet... as my Salvation is certain i'm no longer fairly very worried approximately hell... the only element I tell those no longer-yet-believers who ask is... regardless of how forward for the lost... it ain't' going to be good... The value given by ability of God to His human beings is to unfold the good information of The Salvation Message.... no longer hell hearth and brimstone.

Some do not teach hell such as the Arians like Jehovah Witnesses, Iglesia ni Cristo and Ang Dating Daan. These groups believe in annihilation instead.

Holly You ask deep questions. Thank You.
Regarding eternal damnation, it's just that some of us do not feel compelled to judge these matters. Who knows what God intended when he arranged for Judas to be born? Somebody had to deliver the fatal kiss. Why does that call for MY further judgment?

Sorrowfully this is true but, most churches teach condemnation in such a manner it drives people away from church. No one likes to hear about doom and destruction. If it were taught in such a manner to express God's love for all of us no matter our sin perhaps more people would listen.

eternal condemnation doesn´t mean eternally been tortured by God or Jesus but means to be destroyed and that is forever but not hope of resurrection.
Cause if God torture people then he is the evilest person in the universe and that is impossible.
the death is the way we pay our sins not with torture according to Roman 6:23.

Yes... that is the right Biblical perspective about it, but they will be in for a big surprise if the Bible God is real!
By believing in Jesus and being “saved” you will get one of the first seats in Heaven to watch how the vast majority of the human beings including your “unsaved” family members and old acquaintances will be tormented in a sulfuric Hell fire lake or what have you for ever and ever and you will be encouraged to poke fun showing a wet big finger for them to lick and tease them all you want for ever and ever… That’s HEAVEN! No wonder Jesus said that you must hate your father and your mother and everybody else to follow him, especially if they are "unsaved" and go to HELL! You will hear a lot of “I told you so…” from Sweet Jesus! He thought of everything!
Luke 16:23-25-NIV (Jesus is telling us…) AND BEING IN TORMENTS IN HELL, he* (*a rich man in Hell) lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; FOR I AM TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME.’(and Jesus all excited continues the story telling…) But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and YOU ARE TORMENTED! (Hey, these are words of Sweet Jesus… he will enjoy watching the Christians teasing those in HELL!)
Revelation 14:10-11 "he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. HE WILL BE TORMENTED WITH BURNING SULFUR in the presence of the holy angels and of the LAMB* (*aka God the Son Jesus Christ, and some Christians who will ALWAYS be with him wherever he goes/John 17:24). And the smoke of their torment rises FOR EVER AND EVER. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."
So if you got saved make sure that you pay your tithes and offering or you will be given a Christian burial without next of kin notification and go to HELL for sinning against the Holy Ghost! (Acts 5:1-11)! Not paying the full tithes and offerings is a great blasphemy against God the Holy Ghost!
