Well mary, I'm atheist so I don't have a religion. And I'm not mocking, multiple wives? Yes please.

Here's a few.. Since we don't drink or smoke or have sex outside of marriage (those of us who really practice our religion anyway), our bodies are pretty much free of the problems that can occur with doing these things.
My own personal opinion is that I have a closer relationship with God and Christ because of my church.
We also have strong family units, and try to teach our children to be good, strong, upstanding citizens. We try to teach responsibility for our actions, and that there are consequences- for good or bad- with each choice we make.
I know other churches teach this same principles, so they also have these benefits.

You mean "benefits" like being mock at for no reason?
People think you are weird or secret, because you believe differently.
Then there are those so called "Christians" keep saying you are a cult, no matter what you do.
Yea, we like these "benefits", and it will keep us strong in our belief. The more you people grind us, the more we show how stubborn and firm we are about our faith.
By the way, educate yourself, we do not have polygamy. You can scratch that out as "benefits"

being part of an exclusive club is a big draw, like other religions. you get to wear some kind of holy undergarments. you get to go on missionary trips. they have real nice churches in Salt Lake City. you become like God. You can pay off the IOC to get the Olympic games in Utah, and use that to get elected Governer, and eventually become a presidential contender. all kinds of benefits, as you see

I don't know if I look at polygamy as a positive benefit.
I guess one would be is that there are plenty of people who go to the temples and you can say one thing while doing the direct opposite.

They no longer have polygamy! Everybody knows that! Besides, they live healthy. So, I'd say they have long lives. Isn't that a benefit?

Let's play fair--name some of the benefits of your religion, and then check with God to see if mocking people, accusing them unjustly, and judging them is in his to-do list for you today.
If you don't have a religion goody gumdrops for you. You should be happy for yourself and let other people alone. Or are you one of those even-though-I'm-an-atheist-I-still- have-morals kind of atheists?

If you get to the top of the Mormon chain of command, then you can rake in the dollars and you have a flock of fools to use at your will.
