Out of curiosity I did a search with key words "divorce rate Christians Atheists"
These are the results:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=1&ct=result&cd=1&q=divorce+rates+christian+atheist&spell=1
Of these, this one looks less like it has a bias than some of the others.

I'm not familiar with it. It relies on data from a Burna study. I found this objection in one of the links on the previous page to the Burna study:
" In the six months since the Barna study was released, it has also drawn attacks from academic scholars who suggested that his study might measure differences in economic status, educational level and age of marriage rather than religious conviction. People who marry late, earn high incomes and are well-educated have lower divorce rates, studies show."
So it could be that those most likely to profess Christianity are also more likely to be from the class or education level that suffers most from divorce.
I'm married 30 years to the same man; We are well educated, financially comfortable, and agnostic in our religious beliefs.

I am supporting neither side in this.
But some places tend to have higher levels of Christians than others (Bible Belt). There can be many other factors that determine divorce rates, like economical and environmental demands.
If i see a report that tries to take all other factors into account, then I will believe it

Christian couple in which both go regularly to the same church and have the same values,behavior-standards and principles rarely divorce.
In Russia and China people who declare that they are atheists tend to have a higher rate of divorce than people who are active in religions.

You need to give your source. There could be any number of reasons. Maybe a higher number of Christians compared to atheists or maybe less atheists even getting married maybe they just live together. No telling what the reason could be.

"Then Im thinking in line with risk it is with the aid of fact there are greater Christians than atheists." it somewhat is beside the point to the divorce fee that's the share of human beings in a given team that get divorced. the fee of divorce for Christians is greater than it somewhat is for atheists. and that i do no longer see what the share of "bible believing Christians" has to do with something, except you're asserting that the different ninety six% are not extremely Christians.

Because Christians marry thinking God will help them, but Atheists marry on the premise that they have a good relationship and logic.

I think it is because atheists tend to marry later. The younger you are, the higher the chance. So it makes sense that since we are often older when we marry, we are more likely to stay together.

I don't know if you would consider Religious Tolerance one of the "atheist annual BS reports", though. Seeing that it's ran and operated by people from all kinds of religions belief systems.

Because Christianity=infinite forgiveness
and because Christians often think that God must inspire them to get married, therefore it is right to get married on a whim.
