(because in my case) I'm really shy and :( unfortuately did that to the guy I like yesterday. Okay, past is past. Gotta move on and talk to him.

Anyway, would you think she could be shy or would you assume she's conceited if she didn't talk to you (but you didn't talk to her either).

A shy/introverted boy or girl is often misperceived as being snobby. To save face he/she looks away, at their watch etc. and seems disinterested. As the general public are not psychologists at heart, they have to be forgiven for assuming......etc.

What to do is to put yourself available, logistically speaking. That is, be where he is. Near his locker, where he hangs out, etc. That way he builds the nerve to say hi, and you build the nerve to return it, don't you. It's a subtle way for you to be yourself, (there's nothing wrong with being introverted; it's valued much more in European countries) and you must learn to accept yourself, as should he. Of course the closer you get the more you both open up. Good luck with this. Cheers.

I won't know if she is conceited if I did not talk to her. Some girls do act a little bit conceited. Maybe you could have been misunderstood for one of those.

I wouldn't assume she was conceited, but I would assume she wasn't interested in knowing me...(go figure).
