The "I can't afford a vet" excuse is getting old on here! Why on earth would you get a pet if you can't afford to take it to the vet in an emergency? The visual of that poor dog dragging her leg breaks my heart. Take it to a vet and offer to give it to them - at least it will be taken care of. Sorry to sound so mean, but you became responsible for that dog the day you got it!

Depends on how old the dog is. Could be arthritis with an older dog, but could be a million different things in general. Your gonna need to get him looked at. If you had a bum leg and your dog was in charge. You would hope he would do the same for you. I had a friend who was broke and had a dog he picked up off he street and saved. When it got sick he went to the vet and told em the story. They gave the dog some medicine and let him make small payments till he payed it off. Not saying they will do the same for you. But its worth a shot..Good Luck

VET NOW
It is a law that if an animal is in need of medical help then it is to be given.
If not callthe animal control and turn the dog over so it can be treated.
If it were a humane, yourself, spouse, or child I'm sure you could afford the hospital.

nicely I easily have been down this highway with a lot of my canines. You bypass to the vet for an xray and take it from there. The vet can be able to inform you what you're coping with and what levels you're in, and what meds you choose. you are able to desire to understand no rely if it fairly is arthritis, backbone/returned drama, hip issues, or any form of mixtures. None of my canines ever mandatory surgical treatment for his or her themes, yet we had to alter meds as issues stepped forward. canines are masters at hiding discomfort. Ask your vet what meds are availble, and the area effects of the meds so which you're making the terrific alternatives. i'd initiate there.

Do whatever you can do to come up with the money. You get a dog and you are responsible for her life, including vet care. Please take the poor dog to the vet.

What is wrong with all of you? Is this not a forum for pet owners to be able to share concerns and share ideas or experiences or advice? Instead you judge? If you have no advice, then move on, but keep your judgements and bully-like comments to yourselves!
