For the most part, they are not.
If they are made with whole grains, they will be much healthier.

I didn't know they were. Waffles have oil and egg in them, pancakes have egg are usually cooked in a little bit of oil and french toast has egg on it. Oil is high in fat and eggs are high in cholesterol and fat. They're more yummy than good for you.

They're not healthy, y'all. But you can make them healthier. Use whole wheat flour instead of white flour. Add seeds and nuts to the batter. Keep the fat content low, by using butter or oil sparingly, and maybe skipping some of the egg yolks. Keep the sugar and salt low, too.

They are wheat, or bread with eggs and milk. There's a bit of oil or butter, but not a lot really. So at this point it's not that bad for you. If you eat them plain you're just eating bread, milk and eggs. However, most people load these foods with syrup, butter or jam. Then it's not so good for you.
