If I import a DualShock 3 from Japan, will it work with my US-bought PS3?

That ceramic white DualShock 3 is just too cool to resist... but I have a creeping feeling it won't work with a US PS3. So? :/

Yes, the Japanese PS3 Dualshock 3 controllers will work with the U.S. PS3. I'm going to import a white Dual Shocker 3 controller as well this month. The PS3 uses Bluetooth to register the controller and it will work with any PS3. I've even seen a Youtube video of someone using the Dualshock 3 controllers with their U.S. PS3's so it will work.

The controllers are universal. It works with any region of ps3. Currently you can get white ds3 for $59.90 imported. You can get it for $61 with shipping using the coupon. This is the cheapest and the most reasonable i have found. Ebay is selling at $80 to $90. :(
