It used to be Christians got upset over the commercialization of Christmas. Now they get upset if Wal-Mart doesn't use the word Christmas in their greetings. Most things we do as a nation at Christmastime involve the secular elements, such as gift giving, cards, and dinners, or the pagan elements, such as Christmas trees, mistletoe, Santa, and parties. The last thing most Americans are thinking of during this festive season is the Nativity. So, is the war on Christmas over, with the Christians soundly defeated?

Its always been a part-christian (and serious) and more of a winter lark and foodfest, in the UK at any rate.. Everyone likes a good festival in the depth of winter. A winter without a festive break would be burdensome to our natural spirits.

They never had control from the beginning.

Christmas is a pagan holiday, it has nothing to do with God or Yeshua the Christ.

Christ was not born on 25 December.

Christmas was celebrated by pagans for hundreds of years before Christ's birth.

Honey, Walmart lost so much business last year because of their policy to not use the word "Christmas" in their advertising. They now DO use it!

And as for "losing control of Christmas" ... who has EVER "controlled" it???? Christians don't WANT to control it, God does. And He has never lost control and never will.

And 85% of Americans claim to be Christian and DO celebrate the nativity. So wherever you got your information from, is wrong.

God bless!
