The terms "Mid Century Modern" and "Hollywood Regency" both relate to the same periods of time and to design. Some of the elements and designers overlap or "crossover". My listings for Milo Baughman Tables were pulled by Ebay, because of the term "Hollywood Regency" in the titles. I believe that my chrome and marble Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin tables were well represented by this term and that the actions of Ebay were wrong (not to mention costing me at least $550.00, the current bids with 5 days left, when they stopped my auction). I feel a little self conscience and selfish bringing up such a narrow topic, for my first communication on this blog, but no one at Ebay listens or answers. Thanks for your insight and answers.

eBay makes the rules, eBay wields a powerful sword and when you list items on there, you are basically at their mercy.

Their help staff is basically a bunch of trained chimps that have been taught to pretend like they care.

Ebay can get very heavy-handed with their rules and they can be inconsistant in enforcing them. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how wrong they are. You will never be able to appeal the decision. You just have to relist. I suggest you email the people who bid and tell them about the new listing.

But yeah, it's definitely wrong.

Ebay only hires trained monkeys that cannot speak english well and that are sociopathic in their ability to feel anything. Id write a letter.. but i doubt it will do you any good.
