but when it came to your partner sayin it they had the tendancy to sort of look a way when they were sayin i love you back.. wouldnt that tell you that they dont mean it? and when you actually tell them they look away, they look directly in your eyes and say it, would that just mean their tryin to dig themselves out of a hole?

No, not always. Some people are shy and can't hold long eye contacts. Some people really do mean what they say without give eye contacts. I have a problem with giving people eye contact, mainly because I am not used to it with people. When I am with my bf, I tend to look away a lot whether I'm talking to him or not. I do love him, but I just find it hard to stare at him. But I think eye contacts do prove that they mean something when you talk to someone.

This happened to me once and only once so far in my entire life. I was fourteen and it was my last sumer as a camper at this sleepway camp. There was this guy there who was fifteen. We became really close over the summer. On the second to last night of camp there was always an and of summer dinner. After the dinner, we went out and started fooling around. Before anything else happened between us I said "wait". Then he looked at me and I could tell just by the way he looked at me with his gorgeous blue eyes that he loved me.

normally you can feel in in their touch or if you are touching them that you mean it, or they mean it when they say it to you.
I think its nice when they say they love you when you least expect it, that is when they mean it.
