there are occasional pains in the back not while walking or lifting and sometimes in the right shoulder joints i trouble with high blood preasure and i am on medication.

I think most people gets aches and pains when they are in their 50's..When i have a backache i take Bayer Back and Body-it takes about an hr to work but it does work-if you have an injury or a more serious ache you should ask the dr about it-also since you have high blood pressure you may not be able to take the Bayer Back and Body or even other otc products as some of them makes our blood pressure go up a bit.Best to ask your Dr-what you can take for igood luck to you

DDD or degenerative disc disease, which is not a disease but part of the aging process. The nice soft jelly discs are dehydrating. Anyway you need to keep exercising, use hot shower to kill the pain and give it a few months the discs will have finished shrinking. Good Luck
