Jesus did not die on the cross. Jesus survived the crucifixion. Jesus went through the crucifixion but did not die from it. However, before going into the details of how Jesus both suffered, and survived, the crucifixion, let us first understand what lead to his crucifixion.

There is no evidence of the exact date of his death, and because no one can say he actually existed, because the story of Jesus came out of Egypt 2000 years prior to his supposedly birth, and the fact that it did come out of Egypt really weakens the credibility of Jesus existence, and as more and more proof everyday is being revealed of his nonexistence, is proving to many people that it really is all just a religious lie, and being a catholic it has been some what of a shock, but then not to surprised, as I always was suspicious that nothing in the bible was true, anyway we all still have our spirituality and we all know we came from the spiritual world, and that's OK for me. peace

the bible does not specifically state which day of the week Jesus was crucified. the two most widely held views are friday and wednesday. some, however, using a synthesis of both the friday and wednesday arguments, accept thursday as the day.
in the grand scheme of things, it isn't all that important to know what day of the week Christ was crucified. if it were very important, then God's word would have clearly communicated the day

I really don't know when the exact day was. Besides, the thing that matters most is that Jesus did that for you & I, not when it happened.
