ok, im really into photography, but i dont really have much stuff. i have a camera, and thats it. i just upload my pix and put them on flickr.com. but i want to start getting more into it. i want some lights and stuff like that. what should i ask for for christmas to help me get more into photography.

i was thinking some lights and mabey a program for my computer.

Ask for money !

This will give you time to think and you can make very considered purchases in the January sales and get much more for your money.

I agree with jennifer. You should ask for money, that way, if you ever need anything, you'll have the money available. Just dont spend it on other stuff! =D. I really dont know anything about photography but at least that much I can tell you=]

The very first things to obtain would be an off camera strobe (flash) and a tripod. Then a nice camera bag to carry all the gear you're going to own around.

I would get a tripod, some 4gb cards, an off-camera flash, polarizing filter, and photoshop elements.

You could ask for a cheap lighting kit....and Photoshop cs3 or if you cant get the light kit then get adobe photoshop lightroom
