Jehovah's Witnesses believe that when we die we are really dead and wicked ones return to the dust. The good will be resurrected to life in the earth during the 1000 years of peace.
There is not 7 stages to heaven and we were not in heaven prior to coming to the earth.
Mormons believe that they were spirit persons in heaven prior to being born on the earth. the spirits are waiting to be born on to this earth. When they die they return to their heavenly abode. We believe that many will live forever upon the earth and that this is more than a proving ground for spirits.
Adam and Eve were direct creations from God and were made to live upon the earth forever. they were not predetermined to sin they used free will to sin.
there is so many differences that it is hard to write them all down here.
Black people were never thought of in Jehovah's organization as being cursed. They were never discriminated against because of color. They were always accepted as elders and leaders in the organization.
In the very few chosen as the 144,000 to go to heaven to rule the world. Some of those people were black.
Which is the most prominent positions in the organization.
During a District Assembly in San Franciso almost all the speakers were black men. Those who held possissions of authority as Elders and Ministerial Servants. Almost everyone of them was black men. I was suprised because here in the south west it was mostly Indians. But this is Indian territory and the congregation is mostly Indian.

1. Mormons believe men go to a higher heaven than women. JWs don't.
2. Mormons believe divorced people go to a lower heaven than non-divorced people. JWs don't.
3. Mormons send select single young men (called Elders) and women (called Sisters) on two year missionary assignments. JWs encourage all members to have a share in preaching and teaching.
You asked for only three so I'm giving you only three based on conversations I've had with Mormons. I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Out of the over 6 million Jehovah's Witnesses maybe more someone said their memorial was 15 million.
But their is only 1 million in the USA.
Most Jehovah's Witnesses are in foreign countries.
they are in more than 234 countries and islands.
Mostly minorities, 1 in 6 in Mexico is a Witness.
High proportion of spanish and blacks.
The mormans are pretty much centered in just the USA.
with Utah as the holy land. Missouri as where Jesus is coming back to the earth. It is pretty much a white American religion.

Honestly, I don't know much about the Mormons. I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
I do know that some who are involved in politics claim to be Mormons, while no real Witness would be involved in that.
As I understand it Mormons agree with the teaching of Hellfire, we don't.
Mormons view drinking Alcohol as wrong, at least for them. While we don't believe in getting drunk, and some of us may decide not to drink, as a faith we have nothing against drinking alcohol.
EDIT I can't believe people actually spread those rediculous "Weird Rules lists" which are almost completely false.

J.W's are the only group that preach the "Kingdom" of Matthew 6: 9,10.
And use ONLY the Bible.
The door to door work is following Jesus' example.
(ACTS 20:20) while I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house.
This is the apostle Paul speaking, but he was doing exactly what Jesus wanted him to do.
And Paul is good proof that even the most 'anti' person can have a change of heart.

Wow, where to start. I think two of the only real similarities are that (1)they both send missionaries door to door (but even their tactics at doing this differ) and (2)most people know little about either religion.

Let's see both religion believes in ONE God Almighty (creator of the universe and all living things), ONE only begotten son Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. That is what is important. All who have accepted Christ Jesus as their Saviour & Redeemer, have hope.
Looking on the good side.

Blood transfusions. L.D.S. do them; Jehovah’s Witnesses don't.
Holidays: L.D.S. do them; Jehovah’s Witnesses don't.
L.D.S. have the Bible and the Book of Mormon; Jehovah’s Witnesses have just the Bible.
