I like this guy and he likes me. We both know that we like eachother and he was supposed to ask me out yesterday...but he didn't. I'm assuming he was just really nervous cause he told my friend afterwards that he would do it, just not that night. and i don't think its because he doesn't like me anymore because we even already act like we're going out we just don't kiss. But if he knows i like him and knows that i'll say yes why would he be so nervous?? So what i'm really getting at is....would it be weird for a girl to ask a guy out???? i need both guys and girls answering my question please. because if he is so nervous about it then wouldn't he be happy if i just did?? I don't know.??!!

I've never asked a guy out in my life, I'd have never had the guts. If you do, kudos to you. I really don't know how most guys feel about being asked out by a girl, hopefully more men will answer. I've known quite a few guys that wouldn't like it, but I don't know what younger guys would think. It might make things easier on him if he's so nervous.

Alright, from a guys perspective I don't suggest you ask him out. I think that it might push him away feeling like he is not being a man. What you might want to do is make him feel more comfortable around you, enough to maybe pop the question. You can do this by making him feel more wanted. Try kissing him if he wont kiss you. That's a sure sign of interest. Maybe then he will have the courage and if not than at least he will feel obligated to ask. If thats what you both want, who cares how it happens? Good luck.

I think it's fine for girls to ask guys out. If women want to have equal rights and stuff like that, they're gonna have to break down the barriers for dating and the old school way of looking at things. All in all, it's fine. Why should all the pressure be put on guys?

okay here's the deal guys need to be given a push and I under stand that you have done that but I don't think It would be that much of a problem if you asked him out yourself... I mean what is he going to do... On the other hand I he wants to go with tradition he would ask you himself because it's not lady like for a girl to ask a guy out BUT it IS the 21st century...

Maybe he wants to ask you out, but he does not have the money to take you on a date.

You could try to drop a hint, like ask him what he is doing over the weekend.

It's okay for girls to ask guys out but if he already likes you then just let him do it. He'll probably feel better if he does it. Give it time! You already know he likes you!

im not a guy, but i think that he definitely likes u, and that night he was probably nervous. or maybe it wasnt like he imagined it would be (people around, or whatever it might be). Dont ask him out, but try to reassure him that u like him, and he will ask u out eventually

Yes you could go ask him out and it would make it easier on him and he'd like that initially but on some level, you would be a disappointment to him too. You'd come off as the one chasing him, a bit desperate...which is a turn off for guys.

I'd just go for it and ask him out....who knows why but he sounds like he is nervous.......I asked a boy out in High school and we went together for 2 years so that is not unheard of .......I say go for it!
