for some odd reason I lost power for a few seconds, the radio is asking for the code, I bought the car at an auction and somebody stole the owners manual during the action. I'd take it to the dealer but they want $125 just to look at it before they actually do any work. What do I do? who do I contact?

Stealers can ususally supply the code if you can get the serial number off the radio. Might be able to with the vin if it's the original radio. Try a different stealer.

Can you post the VIN number of the car, or e-mail it to me?
