Err...you really have no idea what a Satanist is. Most of them don't believe in a literal Satan. They use him as a symbol, and to mock the religious.

Theistic Satanist are truly rare (though one is here occasionally) but they are nearly all polytheistic and have a much different idea who Lucifer is than the Christians. Look up the literal translation of Lucifer and you will see that he is the Light Bringer, the Morning Star, and he gives humans knowledge. You will see that in the story in Genesis to. The original sin was gaining knowledge.

The only satanist I know in real life, is more of a jokester than anything. He doesn't love satan, he just hates being preached at, and his defense mechanism is that whenever someone tries to "convert" him, he starts talking about Satanism and how great it is. I think he's just trying to make the christians stop bothering him, honestly.

LeVayan Satanists do not. They take an "eye for an eye" philosophy. Also note that this type of Satanist is a mere rhetorical use of Satan. They don't believe in gods or the supernatural. "Satan" from the Bible is an idealistic example of what they like, a man who rebells against the perceived restrictions of the dominant religious system. They see Satan as a symbol of indulgence and intellectual freedom, and they also have problems with Christianity and the ways that religion restricts personal enjoyment.

"Love your enemies" came from the descriptions of Jesus from the New Testament and also from multiple Chinese philosophers that preceded him.

Personally I believe Satan is the 'imagination' and/or also more than 'one' diety eg. Azazel, Lucifer, Typhon, Behemoth, Ariman etc. Gods that oppose the Abrihamic (monothiestic religions such as Christianity, Judaism, Muslim). I don't believe Satan hates me infact i that which opresses me and hates me i call Jehovah or Yaweh. I'm not faced with humans with right hand perspective of my belief. I'm a dedicated Satanist and DArk Pagan. Satan instills doubt and fear in humans. She does not hate us.
