Hun, without an exam and possible x-rays it is impossible for any of us to diagnose a condition over the Internet. She could have sprained it, torn something, broke a bone...

Hi, I think you should take her to a vet as soon as possible. Pugs have short legs, so they could easily get hurt or even broken, especially if the couch is tall.

It cannot be diagnosed over the Web. It could be as minor as a sprain or as serious as a torn ligament or broken bone. In any case the dog needs to be seen by a vet right away, today.
When my dog sprained his knee, the Vet was able to give him meds to make him more comfortable and verify that it was not serious.

She most likely has a anterior/cranial cruciate ligament rupture. its very important to bring her to teh vet. If that is what has happened, and you leave it untreated the rupture will cause ongoing, progressive degeneration of the stifle joint. Its also possible that its a fracture, either way please take her to see a vet. Just like when we break a bone they need "special" care as well.

I suggest you take your pug to the vets as soon as you can if she can't move her back leg.
And if she is not insured may I suggest you get that sorted too. I hope she will be ok soon.

She may have broken a bone or knocked a joint out of place. Small dogs are prone to luxated patellas.
