Yes, in answer to your question it does matter. Its sad that people who aren't 100% perfect wind up being the kid that gets picked on but thats how it always has and always will be. It sick the way kids treat each other. You could probably lose that much in six months. Go to weight watchers and see some of the tips they have they are really good. Also try to quit eating alot of carbs and drink lots and lots of water. I hope you reach your goal, and if you don't I hope that everything goes okay for you in school just remember that kids are mean, and don't let it get to you. I wish you the best of luck!

you can lose 20 pounds in ten weeks at minimum the healthy way

i'm 16 and a junior in highschool right now. i live in a small town so it may be different in other places. it really depends on ur history with ppl. if you have good friends and can be friendly with all people - ppl will overlook whatever weight u are and fall in love with your personality. its true though that weight does factor in to what people think of you, but they overlook that if you have some particular....attributes...for example: participating in sports with a decent level of devotion. sports are a big thing in highschool. i know a popular who has a bit of pudge on her, but everybody loves her and her personality. i even heard some people - guys and girls - talking about the fact that she was a tad pudgy, but she was athletic, and good at the sports she participated in, and people admired her for being athletic AND being so smart.

the things that matter most in highschool are your winning personality and your ability to do well. people admire others for what they achieve. sports are impressive, which is why i mention sports so much. i think, that you shouldnt worry so much about ur weight, but rather spend that year you have to practice up some skills for various sports like basketball, volleyball, track, (these are the big ones at my school)

i wanna say that highschool isnt all that different from middle school, but then i'd be lying, because people do change. you just have to play your cards right to stay ahead.

good luck at highschool :)

Well I say losing weight is never easy, but if you put your mind to it 20 lbs in 1 year is not a bad goal at all. You should be able to get that in 4 to 5 months.

1. I don't know what size you are referring to, body size, penis size, breast size? Could be anything. 2.Overweight people typically get picked on quite a bit but that's nothing new. 3.That really depends on how the cheerleaders at your school are viewed, many people don't like cheerleaders because they can give you a sense of "we're better than you, you don't have a chance" or whatever. 4. I think it can be positive, I didn't mind my experience despite the negatives. I just had my group of friends and otherwise kept to myself. I didn't get bothered as much as some.

Yes, it's possible to do that. You are young, so your body is easily "fixable", with anything you do. And it's better to start now with your weight issues, than wait until later, when it's harder.
You have to just be dedicated, and stick to a healthy diet, and exercise regularly. Don't give up, it may take time to see results, depending on just how overweight you are. You are not only doing something good for your self esteem, but for your long term health. Good for you!

It is healthy to lose 1-2lbs a week. There are 52 weeks in year so you should lose 52 to 104 lbs.

Overweight individuals are more prone to being teased than any other group. I would say that it would behoove you to lose a few pounds so that the teasing can be avoided, not to mention improving your health substantially.

I think that you definitely can. If you want to lose weight do it for YOU not for other people. make sure that if you do, do it in a healthy manner. Just be happy in your own skin and do what makes you happy!

Good Luck!
