Raw digital video takes huge space or bandwidth, so one way to solve the problem is to compress it.
MPEG-1/2/4 and WMV and H.263 are nothing more than different codecs to compress video. (Most of them have a corresponding audio codec as well).
Some are better a low bit rates, some at higher bit rates.
Usually those that compress better are also the more complex.

they are only different codecs high quality smart there is no distinction all of it count at what bit value they are recorded at besides as compression ratios, the better the bit value the greater valuable
