There are all kinds of British shops in LA which also carry Aussie stuff.
My ex used to get it at a Brit grocery in Santa Monica.
Try a Google search with "Vegemite Los Angeles". You might find it.

most any health food store or international market. let your fingers do the walking as in yellow pages or web. i've even seen it in regular grocery stores from time to time.

I don't know but I think they allow it now. That stuff is nasty anyway
