Clean washcloth hot water compress, every 4 hours.
It could be an infection, if the tissue around the area is very red and swollen. If that is the case it might need to be..."lanced" which is to have a small incision to drain it...really it isn't that bad if you need it done.
If it truly is clogged, there is a small wire that can be used to open it up (only by the eye doc, of course)
If it isn't terrible, try hot compresses first.
But of course there is a remedy!

Yes it is not nice is it? You need to see a Doc and get it seen too. My Mother has two serious blocked tear ducts, so needs eye ointment and drops. Once cleared, well every time she laughs she cries and then they get blocked again? She is trying tea? Will use a warm used tea bag compress, not sure if it works, but she does it anyway. Good Luck.

You could have a sty, which can be painful.

Talk to a pharmacist, and ask them to recommend something.

If it is anything more serious, they will advise you to see your doctor.
