I'm in a live in relationship with my boyfriend of 2 years. This Christmas we are doing it at our home togeather with my daughter that is 8 and his daughter that is 8 from other relationships. My family has ALWAYS had really big christmas' for my daughter. I want my daughter to enjoy the christmas' like always with lots and lots of gifts. I talked to him about this when i started my shopping .. He said for me to take care of my daughter and he would do his. Thats sounded great, but he has only got like 10 gifts in all for his daughter. I have bought alot more. I really dont want the kids to get up on Christmas morrning and not have the same amount of things. I feel like his daughter is not going to understand why Santa brought my daughter more and will be hurt. But at the same time i do not want to take away anything from my little girl. I don't have the extra cash to buy for his daughter like I did mine. I am really lost and dont know what to do.

Talk to him about your grimace, let him know your concerns and hopfully you can reach an honest comprimise....
