Sometimes truth hurts and believe me when I say, it will not be the only hurt he will have to deal with in his lifetime. Usually, I watch how the guy treats other women first. If they are fair and don't lie to them, then I consider dating them. Best friends usually do make good bf's. First i would find out if your best friend thinks of you in the way you want him too. it depends on how long you have been together, but the best way is to tell him you no longer love him like you did and that it would be better if you both went your separate ways, it might seem harsh but the longer you hold back the more pain full it will be, and once you have told him you will feel relieved

Tell him straight up. In my experience, I'd rather be told you don't like me, and end it there. I don't wanna be led on and then find out you were never into it.
