You may still be growing...because that's a normal weight for 5'5...If you seriously want to lose weight, here's the thing:
only eat fruits and vegetables, drink only water, and do 30 minutes a day on a tredmill at 4.0 miles per hour or faster...Do this for about 2 weeks, and if it doesn't work, then you really need to see a doctor...I know only eating fruits and vegetables and drinking only water sounds bad, but trust me it works...I lost about 20 pounds in about 2 weeks.

well, losing 20 pounds in two weeks is very very unhealthy. Here's the way to do it in a healthy way, even though its going to be only about 2 pounds a week.
DO NOT EAT FATTY FOODS. If you eat fats, it's going to go straight into storage, before you get a chance to burn it.
DO NOT EAT SIMPLE SUGARS. That means all the chocolates, candies, cokes. If you dont burn these in an hour, it'll be turned into fat.
EAT SMALL PORTIONS. about 5-6 times a day. Never get full. try to get your fruits and vegetables aswell.
BURN MORE CALORIES THAN YOU EAT. This is the main point of all this. If you burn 2500 calories a day, but only eat 2000, you lose 500 calories. Everytime you lose 3000 calories, thats one pound of fat gone!
So start moving around, running, increase your activity level, and you should be losing 2 pounds a week. 15 pounds off in only 3 months, and you'll keep it off easily. NOT BAD!!
DONT GET ANY PILLS!!! any weight lost using pills is hard to keep off, so theres no use...
good luck

A pill will not help you lose weight. As if you do, they aren't safe. Most of the "herbal" supplements, etc. are not regulated by the FDA so you don't know if they are safe or not.
The best thing to do if you want to lose weight is to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and less processed junk food. Get some exercise. Anything is better than nothing.

If you're that worried, first I would go to your doctor if you can. But definitely stay away from the weight loss pills, just remember there's no quick fixes without consequences. Think more of a lifestyle change that includes healthy eating and exercise.

over the counter drugs are not the answer. The problem is that we (everyone) is toxic due to the food we eat, and the air we breath. You need to do a nurtitional cleanse. You can get more info at www.lexiwinder.isagenix.com, watch the video titled "are you toxic" then e-mail me to find out more. You can lose the weight, while improving your overall health. It is a healty, safe way to get control of your health, and weight.

a healthy diet and exercise works for everyone. you just did not make enough changes to see results. subtle changes in the diet and level of activity will results in little if any changes to the body.
being healthy and fit is a lifestyle and it takes effort, anything that's worthwhile does.
