What do you think of a nose piercing on a fourteen year old girl?

Trashy. I wanted my nose pierced for a long time when I was young, but now that I'm a few years older and working, I realize it was a good idea not to get one. Not only can you have it ripped out, get infections, etc. etc., but it can possibly cause you not to get a job. Don't get me wrong, I respect everyone that has or is going to be getting piercings. I like them as well.

i got my nose pierced a couple days after i turned 15, so i think it would be fine on a 14 year old girl.

just make sure that you take care of it.

and, you won't have a hole on your nose until you're 80, like the person above me said.

and, its not hard to blow your nose.
i guess everyone who answered this question has never gotten their nose pierced cuz they are telling you the wrong facts.

If I am not mistaken don't you have to be 18 or have your parents consent to get any type or piercing other than nose? personally I do not like them, but some girls can pull the look off. Hope this helps!

im 14 and ive got my nose pierced it looks awesome i wear a small dimond stud its being infected once ( and thats from takin it out all the time for school ) if it does get infected use teatree on it thats what i did and it was cleared up in about 4 days.. and for tha idiots that say that u need to clean it ignore them ive had 2 normal colds and a really bad one and havent had any trouble with it

I think you should wait about a year and REALLY think about it. Do you really want a hole in your nose when you're 80? And do you wanna have to clean it when you get a cold and have to blow your nose all the time? However, if you think it over for a REALLY long time, like a year and you still want it, and it looks good on you, and your parents allow it, go for it. I think you should def. wait until you're a bit older though. Nose rings tend to look slutty to me. Sorry.

I dont have any problem with it, but you have to consider two things-
1. your parents. you have to have their consent unless you attempt to do it on your own or unprofessionally and thats a REALLY bad idea

2. your school. a lot of schools wont allow facial piercings. if you get it done at the start of summer or maybe even Christmas break, you might be able to have it heal enough to use a spacer when you go back to school, but they may not even allow a spacer and unless you do it at summer, the hole will close

I dont have any issues with body piercings, and they will heal and close up so its not a lifetime committment, but you have to be aware that a lot of people DO have problems with it and you'll have to be willing to deal with that-from teachers who may be harder on you to parents that won't let you babysit or something similar to even if, God forbid, something bad happened to you and someone (being an idiot, but it happens) judged you based on it. Just be aware.

no longer trashy in any respect. Its somewhat nostril stud, for christ sakes. Its unlike youre getting your nipples pierced. I have been given my nostril pierced while i became 13 and that i appeared high quality. except you seem trashy already, a truly noticable little gem on your nostril isnt going to alter that. And definite, i think of you will extra wholesome it. maximum folk do :)

First off they look awesome second off where do you live because sometimes you cant get it done even with your parents there because its illegal. I live in New Mexico and i went to go get it done for my 14 birthday but they told me that i cant get it done for another year even with parent permission.

i think they are trashy on most girls. plus ur too young, get piercings in ur ears, they look much better.

All I can say is whenever I see anyone, regardless of age, with facial piercings my first reaction is "Yuck".

Not how cool they are are or whatever, just "Yuck".
