Do you know why you have trouble with making or keeping friends? I have this problem, but I'M not sure why...

to make a friend you have to be a friend. treat your friends the way you want to be treated. I treat my friends like family and when they are in trouble or need my help, I am always there for them and when I am in trouble or need help, I can always ask them for help. yes I have been burnt from a so called friend. she needed a place to live with her husband and needed money. I helped with both. but when I started asking for the money back, the took off without paying. but I still treat friends like family but now I am careful about it

It is because were in an age of quick satisfaction. The internet, Cable TV and Video Games give us plenty of satisfaction so it is very easy to remove friends from the equation, who don't give us much in terms of entertainment. Finally, you dont 'need' friends. They are nice to have but you can lead a satisfactory life being your own best friend. Advice: pets are great friends, get a dog.

I have been abused as a child and it is hard for me to trust people. I won't let anyone near me for very long, and push everyone away. I am a very lonely person. I don't like people to even be standing too close to me, or touch me. I will pray for you in regard to this matter in your life, will you pray for me?I know that God wants to heal us and give us great friends. Thank you.

I'm kinda just in my own world a lot - I have a lot of friends, but it's hard for me to make them because I'll just be zoned out so much, and if they come up to talk to me, then they'll have to start the convo., and then, i might start talking

I'm very nice and friendly.
But I do not get close to people because I'm very judgmental toward people, especially of my own race, white, because of experiences in the past.
I have a tendency to assume everyone is guilty until proven innocent, by guilty I mean sexually active, drinks or uses drugs, does not go to church, is a non-Christian, is a racist, etc.
