I knew this guy for about 2 years. When he's around me he gets kinda shy when I mention something sexual. His myspace says otherwise. Everything on there is sexual. Well he asked me out a couple of weeks ago and I rejected him because I thought he would be a pervert to me like he shows on his myspace and what I want is a relationship that doesn't involve sex till marriage. Did I do the right thing by rejected him?

A guy who is that way on his Myspace has no respect for himself and will equally show no respect to you.
You did the right thing. Stay clear of him. It's no loss. You deserve better.

Well i think you made a mistake. If he seems shy around you maybe he really is. I mean people are not so shy on myspace because its not face to face. I think you should tell the guy youre waiting till marriage and see if he still wants to date you. I think he could be just trying to fit in on myspace.

hmm.... i can think of 2 reasons why a guy would portray himself like that.. the bigger possibility is that this guy havent had any sexual experience as yet - maybe its cause of his lack of courage when it comes to that particular topic.. who knows? He might have made his myspace prof like that so other girls would give him attention.. OR he might truly be what he says on myspace and played the innocent card on you to win you over!

Yep. Something strange about that guy......talks/fantacizes but in real life is immature/shy. It's one thing to share your belief in marriage then sex but then he wouldn't be blasting away on myspace.

Yes. He's not going to act that way around you if he's interested in you. He knows you're not dumb, and he knows you would be able to tell what he was after. So he tried to put on an act so you would think otherwise.

I don't know. If you feel good about it, you did the right thing. You'll never truly know if you did the right thing unless you date him and see how it works out. If you end up married forever then dating him is the right thing. If he breaks up with you in two years, then dating him was the wrong choice.
There's no way to know in advance. You have to live through it, or don't.

Well no you didnt. You didn;t give the lil guy a chance to prove that he is not. You can't judge a book by its cover. It admazes me that girls get mad that guys judge girls by the way they look. Girls do the same to guys as well. You need to stop that. If you don't you are being too pickey and u will be one of those grls that says I can't get a bf.
