Have they robbed you direct debit account earlier than usual or do you have to remind them to take all your money.

(knock, knock!) Can you tax fuel more please?
£1.08 a litre is just too cheap.

(knock, knock!) Can you please take more than 22% of my earnings and more than 8% national insurance?

(knock, knock!) People are complaining that they aren't being taxed enough AGAIN! on purchases from the shops they use, and the shop keeper is also complaining because he is only able to more than triple the price of incoming goods so he can pay the business tax rates.

And some people are self made. However I don't know how people make money without being a bit how should I say, cunning....

And many waste money on stuff they simply do not need just for show.

The poor in the industrialised areas haven't many options left now because many have never had the incentive to do better.
But a vast majority of poor have had the misfortune to live under difficult conditions making it a struggle for basic needs these are the ones who need help, those in third world countries living in extreme conditions where disease is rife. And children who have been abandoned.

A little note to anonymous, taxing the rich heavily IS socialism. It's called the redistribution of wealth. Because Lord knows that damned richies should pay waaaay more than us poor folk.

Those jerks go out and invest in our economy and run those businesses, while we're stuck here in middle management trying to pay off our $50,000 of debt because GOD KNOWS I NEEDED THAT BIG SCREEN TV AND THE NEW CAR.

Taxes ARE too high, government spending is WAY too high, and the national debt is $9 trillion. We're in a bad situation, and socialist policies are the last thing we need.

But until most of the middle class starts living on less than they make, they need to quit being so bitter about people making more money than they make.

90% of millionaires in America are first generation, and the vast majority went out and earned their reward and they should be able to enjoy it without society punishing them for it.

Just my 2¢

Do you live in England Moley? All I know is that in the United States, the rich are not taxed nearly enough, the poor recieve all kinds of assistance from the government, and us in the middle bracket are paying through the nose for everything, getting raped on property AND income tax, now.

If the tax system made sense, people with the most disposable income would be taxed most heavily, but in America this is demonized as (Oh, no!) socialism, or worse yet communism.

It's just horrible. I particularly hate when they tax estates...the people who left them already paid plenty of tax...why should the beneficiaries need to pay again...and more?

The gas, the cigarettes and alcohol, the extra charges on phones, planes, etc. I, for one, would like to know where all these taxes go!! It's not just the 'war', as these taxes were there before that started...what do they do with the money?!? Is it simply to pay the salaries of the big government guys...and pay off bribes?!?

Petrol keeps going up, but do they decrease the tax they take no
They cry that the oil companies are making too much but never mention how much extra they take.
Tobacco and alcohol are the same.

If 5% appears too small
Taxman
Be thankful I don't take it all
Taxman
'Cause I'm the taxman
Yeah, I'm the taxman
And you're working for no one but me

And my advice for those who die,
Taxman, Mr. Wilson
Declare the pennies on your eyes
Taxman, Mr. Heath
