People eat what makes them happy, and feel good.
In the bible God flooded the earth, there was no plants fruits or vegetable except for what was loaded on the ark. as well as animals. The food eventually would run out so God allowed them to eat clean meat.
Many people in many religions or faiths still eat meat. It is a good source of nutrients if it is clean. I personally see nothing wrong with it, in my faith, I don't think that God will keep me out of heaven if I did.
I'm mostly vegetarian though. I do eat a bit of fish or chicken / turkey once in a while for holidays.
mostly salads and soups or soy meats though.

No, it's not good for your health putting religion aside. You can get bacon that is not made from pork - like turkey bacon or soy bacon. Something that tastes good for a few minutes isn't worth sacrificing your faith. There is a reason G-d said not to eat that crap.

Do you really think "whatever name you choose to call the creator" cares what meat you eat or don't eat? If you think your creator cares, then pass on the bacon, if you don't think it matters, then enjoy. The thing I think is important is to be able to eat whatever food, without guilt.
I personally think all these rules and regs about food in religion is man-made, not from the creator. The creator most likely created all things for us to use as needed.

Dude I am Hindu and I ate beef for 19 years of my life, i also know a person who is Muslim and eats pork. Talk to your family about it and if they are OK with it do it. If you are not that religious and you like the taste do it.

It's against your religion to eat pork, and doing so would make you a hypocrite, but religion is full of hypocrites and bacon tastes so f*cking good! I couldn't not eat it personally, it's the only meat that stops me being a vegetarian.

oh for goodness sake. It says in the Book of Books "If you want to make your religion look really stupid petty and ridiculous, go argue on the web whether to eat bacon rolls or not."

What you do is up to you. Religion has to much power over the individual. Believe in whatever you wish, but don't lose the you in a belief. You are a human being.
