If you believe in God.. fine.
If you don't believe in God, fine.
But why do religious people feel the need to preach? Why do they think they're "saving" people by telling them their beliefs are wrong, and only the believers are right?
It sounds like a cult to me, when an organization tries to convince fragile minds to follow someone else's beliefs.

It is a cult, but people won't see it that way because there are too many of them and it's been going on for so long that it's considered normal.
They really are delusional too, but no one will admit it. They can't even see it that way or look at it with an open mind for the same reasons. It's too ingrained in every facet of human society. There is no area of existence that hasn't been infected with religious horseshit.
BTW, saving them from what?
Hell doesn't exist, but even if their stupid stories were true, they would need saving from a place that their god created and sends them to by default, since everyone is born a "sinner". What a dumb*ss made up word. And how does letting your own child be tortured to death keep this from happening or "save" anyone?
I mean, if I were going to get sent to prison or something, I couldn't say "hey judge, if I let you torture my 15 year old to death, can I stay out of jail"?
And then have him say, "sure, man, no problem, that takes care of it'.
That's not even close to logical.
Why did he even make hell, and create a situation where the only thing that would get you out of it was to send his child to be tortured to death?
What a f ucking IDIOT.
What a cruel, f ucked up, heartless, unnecessary, pointless thing to do!
Is he just bored?
Are we his toys?
Why do something like that to us?
He could have just made it where everyone automatically went to heaven, unless they screwed up.
That sounds like a better idea to me.
Supposedly, he could have done anything he wants to, but he chose to make things this way.
Oh, but he "loves" us. Same way he "loves" his son?
What an a sshole.
What a bunch of schizophrenic, faerie tale horseshit!
Is that the best you f uckups can come up with?
I AM NOT IMPRESSED...

Answer: The rolling of faith/belief into a proof thought is diametric opposites!
I have the impression that you are confusing power over people to empowering people.
The old time Divine Feminine religions empower...without recruiting on street corners.
A variation on a thought...If they work that hard to sell me on the idea...It was never mine originally, and difficult and strained, to the point of losing myself.
I would consider giving myself to the Lord...But I'm not going to do that through a snake-oil or used car salesman type...Thank You Very Much!

WELL IF YOU THINK ABOUT YOU CAN SAY THAT FOR EVERYTHING THAT PEOPLE IN GENERAL COPY FROM THE WORLD. sorry for the all caps, your made to buy certain drinks, watch certain shows, talk a certain way,etc.etc. and more that have the time these things aren't for your benefit, it's for the benefit of the other persons pocket. what do God believers benefit except to help save you life. true God believers don't even get paid for trying to help you, it's voluntary just like in bible times.

If a policeman told you what the law was, to prevent you breaking it and being punished, you would thank Him. There is a right and a wrong, whether or not we want to believe it. Christians are doing their best to help people by sharing the truth and love of God with them. If you choose to believe, wonderful. If you refuse to believe, that doesn't mean that its not true, it just means that you have rejected the truth.

Not all "God believers" try to convince non-believers.

I believe in many Gods but don't care if anybody else does or not. I'll explain my own reasons for believing in them if it's relevant to the conversation, but I don't expect my reasons to convince anybody else.

a truth does not need to be prooven.GOD has nothing to do with this.he is the one who became believer in one and non believer in an other. it is juut his duty to keep this world busy .that,s why he create .each thing in two. like day -night,male -fe male.good -bad,believer-nonbeliever etc.your duty is to leave this topic and do the way you can reach to him.and instead being a part of his game, become a spectator as GOD is .he is just watching and enjoying the game of his creation. thanks.

When a person truly experiences the presence of God and more importantly God's acceptance and love, that person is more thankful than you can imagine. It's a dirty job but somebody's got to do it.

OK

Blessed is he who believes with his heart, and not with his eyes. That person who did not live to see that is not going to make it to heaven unless he was saved. He had all the proof in the world here through nature (Romans 1:20). God said that the evil generation demands a sign and will recieve none.

Not all believers try to convert people. Believe what you choose and don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

They say you should never wrestle with a pig. You both end up covered in pig dung and the pig will have a jolly good time!
