Since I don't really have room in my dorm for any of my regular exercises, I've started jump-roping in my hall to get my exercise. I just started doing this about a week ago, and on Thursday I kind of spaced out and got carried away jump-roping, and jumped for like an hour and a half without realizing it. The next day, I woke up and my calf muscles were insanely tense! Whichever tendon it is that lets your muscle stretch out and back, so you can walk--your hamstring, maybe?--doesn't stretch AT ALL, which makes it a little tricky to walk anywhere. I've been waiting for the muscles to relax back out, but it's Saturday now and they still haven't. Any suggestions? It hurts like crazy!
