I honestly believe it is their innate instincts to use anything for backstabbing purposes when deem it necessary. I am not being sexist, but it is what I've seen and heard from females themselves. Several times have I heard females say that males make better friends than females for this reason.

So that when I am in a fight with them I can make them feel bad. lol But guys do this to my bf once told my bff that I said her and her bf are always on and off which is true lol. She didn't get mad bc she knows it is true but he tried to use it against me.

Well, we have better memories of things that were once said and if you are getting in a fight, its better to have some "evidence" i guess, but im not exactly sure...
