We have 100 sq ft (kitchen ) to be tiled. THe tiles are $1.79, have no idea how much the other materials cost. Were getting it done at what I think is a deal for $800 Total (includes everything). This is from a small one many company. We had other quote from big companies, Empire flooring said $2,300, and Carpet exchange said around $1,200.
Just wondering how much it should be.
Thanks

I could give you a better estimate if I knew what kind of tile you were working with, and what size the tiles are. If the tiles are 4" X 4" you have a screaming good deal because there are 9 of them per square foot. That would put the tile cost over $1000. If it is 1 foot square peel and stick you are getting the shaft.

I do handyman work and tile is something I do on occasion. I accept email at my profile and will return a guesstimate if you give all the details. Type and size of tile, shape of room, oddities in room shape, cabinets or islands to tile around, floor surface to be tiled, prep work required and the list goes on. Do see why I say this sort of stuff is very dependent on variables.

I will tell you though; $800 is more than reasonable for any type of ceramic tile, especially at one foot square or smaller.
