Dr. Albert's advice is great. He prefers using a waterpick to clean your braces which is very effective.
I prefer my orthodontic patients to use a Rota-dent brush which has a special head designed to get in and around the brackets easily and effectively.
Well done on getting the braces, keep them clean, good luck and enjoy your rice!

MAGGIE,
YES, RICE IS JUST FINE. YOU'LL SOON DISCOVER WHICH FOODS ARE EASY AND WHICH ARE MESSY TO EAT WITH BRACES.
BUY YOURSELF A WATERPIK MACHINE TO USE DAILY TO CLEAN ALL THE FOOD THAT GETS STUCK IN THE BRACES. THIS WILL BE AS EFFECTIVE AS FLOSSING AND IS MUCH FASTER.
