I'm going to be perfectly honest with you. It might not make me the best Christian, or the bravest patriot.
My family is the most important thing to me. I can not see myself giving up my family for God, for my country, for ANYTHING. I would give my life for the lives of my children or my husband, but I wouldn't sacrifice their lives for anyone.
So maybe my faith isn't strong enough. Maybe my patriotism isn't strong enough. But my family will always come first.

I would give everything up for God if He so desired. Indeed all that I own are His. My house I am paying for, my way of life is modest, my sons belong wholeheartedly to Christ as well, I would indeed give up my country if my faith required it or if it became illegal to be a Catholic. All that I have is on loan from God. My life included.

I would give up all for God, He knows that already. Nothing more in the life matters more.

I would give my life for God. I would do the same defending my country and way of life. No bull. Freedom is not free. We need to defend it at all costs.

I'd give it all up for God. He gave it all to me to begin with. It is His by rights. He gave His own Son for me.
As for my country, one of my most treasured possessions is the Purple Heart that Daddy was awarded in WW2.
My daddy was a hero!
How could I not follow in his footsteps?
I was blessed with a wonderful earthly Daddy and a Heavenly daddy.

The duty of all human beings to God and to their country is the same, to behave according to their human nature, to treat the fellow creatures with respect and to protect and defend their innocent. We trust in God to look after us when we die and we participate in politics to ensure the state upholds human rights.

I would give up Charles Darwin and his false teachings in our public schools and replace them with the God Yahweh's scientific teachings for the survival of future generations of mankind.

I'm not christian but if my homeland ever came under attack, and the enemies came here, I would take up arms and fight them myself. I'd be willing to give my life to protect my homeland and my family.
Where does "god" fit into this?
