I love him so much and it's impossible for me to live without him. Everything's been great and i've never been happier than with i'm with him. But he said we need to take a break because our relationship is too physical, which is something we have discussed a lot. We are soo close emotionally that neither of us wanted to lose that so we are taking physical slowly but i dont understand why he doesnt want to just break from the physical. He's becoming depressed and i dont get it because it was his idea. All i want to do is hold him and make him feel better but he wont let me. He still loves me but he wont let me show or even tell him how much i love him.
I dont know what to do. I want him to feel bettter and it's destroying me to see him in pain.

"But he said we need to take a break because our relationship is too physical, which is something we have discussed a lot"
The most ridiculous way to say to someone "I DON'T WANT YOU ANYMORE".
Sorry to say that but your relationship is dead. Go for new and have fun.

I think you guys need a time out from this topic, try to go out and have fun, lighten up, be cheerful, cheer him up with words;
he might be just going through some phase, so just let him be, and focus on going to places you both enjoy.
No matter how depressive he gets try to be cheery.
He should be able to cheer up soon.

and

in case he continues to be depressive, after all efforts of cheering him up, than it's better to try to talk to him about it, but be gentle and try to keep it as positive as possible because you want to help.

PS: don't give up on the first day or first week.

hope things work out for you guys!

i think u should talk to him about how much it is hurting u. and if he isnt leetting u help or anything then i think u need to move on. i know its hard but it will be the right thing to do because when ur in a relationship u r supposed to be able to trust and open up to the other person.
best of luck!

Sorry but it sounds like he's having issues with intimacy or just plain wants out. Don't smother him -
