I have always been curious. If someone give you a thank you gift for something you did for them, should you send a thank you card back? I am just curious about the text book etiquette here.

I think you should just let the person know you received it (if they had it delivered to you) and let them know you enjoyed it. You don't need to give them a formal thank you, though, as I agree thatwould be redundant.

While this might not be "etiquette" I believe that a thank you gift should be replied to by making a point of seeing the person face to face and telling them how much you appreciate the gift. They will be able to see your face, hear your voice and know personally that you truly loved the gift. The thank you notes, etc. could go on indefinitely if you respond to a "thank you gift" with a thank you note, leading the recipient to feel compelled to write you a thank you for your nice note. Eventually, there would probably be another gift in the cycle. LOL

Yes. Regardless of the reason for the gift, a "thank you" for any gift is always in order. A simple note or card will suffice, perhaps adding how you've used the gift or how it was helpful to you.

no longer goodies or massive bunches of flora. possibly a card? this is weird and wonderful for a guy to opt to assert thank you with a latest. Do you fairly like her? if so you are able to in basic terms say so. Ask her to dinner or out for beverages. yet while it truly is largely expert i wouldn't bypass over board. in basic terms save it an basic thank you. At maximum a single flower, consistent with threat a yellow rose (which stands for friendship) and a thank you for being a pal card. present enjoying cards are yet an option selection (Block Busters or famous individual dollars). i'm specific you will think of of a few thing stable. terrific needs.

um no it's kind of redundant if you ask me. just thank the person for the gift when you receive it. don't go out and get a thank you card.
