Well so far this part 2 to one of my New York questions for the story I am writing. I need to know where there are expensive apartments/condos near the Spencer private school or housing near a public school upper east Manhattan. I need to know about houses, apartments etc anything the rich live in. And the surronding public and private schools. Also if you wanna know what the story is about you can go ahead and IM me Crystal07281987@yahoo.com Thanks!

.....The entire upper east side has that sort of housing .... do you mean The Spence School (not Spencer) ... on 91st right off Fifth?
*Everything* in that area is expensive, not just a few condos here and there.
.....If you wish to know about the private schools in Manhattan, just to an online search ... type in: Private Schools, New York City ... and for the public schools, the same way ...
.....There is an old piece of advice for writers: write about what you know. It is a good piece of advice. I also think you should know the difference between fantasy and reality, and fiction writing and cross-reality writing (you write about a real place but the characters and events are not real) ....and simply reportage.
.....You see, the trouble you (??) are running into here is from your wish to write a piece of fiction based upon a reality that you are assuming is true ......but actually is not true:
that there are just a few expensive buildings near Spence, and that there are old run down bars in Manhattan.
......The fact is that people like to live in Manhattan, and there are few square inches of space that are not polished up to a fare-thee-well, and a lot of Manhattan is really well above that level.
....Why not choose to write about something you know from your own experience, something you have seen with your own eyes, something you know to be true, without asking other people ........and......this is really very important for anyone in your position: how are you going to know which one of our answers to choose as the "real" answer? How will you know which one of us to trust? Do you want a survey about what people know and think about Manhattan, or you really want the information? It means that you will always basically be right back where you started: not knowing the truth. I hope you see what I mean.
