What kind of food should I have at my sweet 16?

I want easy to make stuff and stuff I can get from Costco. I m inviting about 20 ppl. How much food should I get and what should I get. There is no budget or anything but I want simple and cheap foods.

You generally can't go wrong with pizza. I'd say for 20 people get 10-15 large pizzas, then supplement with chips and soda.

Doing barbecued burgers can work too. 30-40 burgers should be enough, plus the usual chips and stuff.

If you want a good Sweet Assortment from CostCo I think you should get a tray of their Muffin Assortment then cut them into 4th's or even 8th's so that they are "Finger Foods".

Each tray comes with 4 different flavors of muffins... Blueberry, Streusel, and, um... I forget...

I used to buy a tray of them, cut them in half, zip-lock each half, and put them in the freezer to put in a lunch bag.

A nice cheese assortment is good as well and you can't beat CostCo's cheese prices.

You could also do a "Pizza Bar"!

Buy some jars of sauce, the 5 pound bag of pre-shredded Motz cheese, and frozen bread dough.

If you have time find a good bakery in your town, call them, and ask them if you can buy raw, fresh, bread dough.

It is usually only like, $2.00 a pound and will make it taste better then any delivery pizza you have ever had.

That is something I tell EVERYONE... Fresh raw dough from a bakery is the way to make anything taste professional at home for cheep.

You just can’t beat a pizza bar to make a party memorable.

Since it's your sweet sixteen throw a candy themed party. Get a lot of different types of candy and put them in clear jars. This looks best when everything else is white and the candy is bright.
