this happened to my friend when his optical nerve was detached he went to the hospital right away and the doctor told him if he had wait he would have went blind in that eye. I would go to the emergency room. If it continues for a couple hours.

before going to see a doctor.. go to the drug store and buy some maurine eye wash.. bout ten bucks.. use as directed.. it is simple and easy.. see if that will eliminate the floaters.. if not then make an appointment with a eye examiner.. good luck

They are called "floaters" and are usually no harm. They are just tiny bits of tissue in the eye. Best to get it checked,though, just in case it is a symptom of something else, like diabetes

You probably need glasses. OR stop staring at your computer screen so much.
Also, go check out webmd.com if you are too worried about it. But, be warned, it can scare you because it lists the worst possible scenario to every symptom!
