Give them all the options. Tell them that is what some people believe, and let them choose for themselves.

You should not lie to children. When they need to know you can tell them that nobody really knows if there is such a thing as a "god" who is interested in anyone of us but that a lot of people think there is. Then what they should do (not must) is to study different beliefs, the evidence for evolution and how science deals with life and the origins of life. Then they can make their own minds up what to believe

YOU be their Higher Power! When they are old enough and start asking questions then encourage them to search for the truth themselves and LET THEM no matter where they look or may end up and ACCEPT THEM and their decision.
I have an 17yr old and an 18 yr old. One is an Atheist and another a Wiccan. I Love them both!
Love your children unconditionally and they will look to you for guidance and support, what better Higher Power could there be?
Much Love and Many Blessings!

If you feel there is higher power in this world you should tell your kids about it. I know that God is real, but you do not believe what I believe. Don't try to convince your children to believe in something you don't believe in yourself. That might rock their faith in you. It is good that they are aware of the options they have though in order to make their own decisions concerning God and a higher power. Maybe you could use the approach that some people in this world believe in God and a higher power that cares for us. And let them know that as they grow up and learn to make decisions for themselves, they have the option of choosing whether or not they believe. But I have no doubt that God is real and He has infinite love for all of us. We only need to believe and accept Him in order to receive the benefits of His power and love in our lives. He doesn't cram in down our throats or beat us in the head in order to make us believe. But He is real!

Be consistent in your life. If you do not believe, tell you children the truth. When they are old enough they will decide for themselves what they believe, what kind of person they want to be, and who they will marry. The most important thing is to set a good example by living an honest exemplary life.

Well, if you think that the fact that they have real live people, such as their parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, as well as the myriad of friends they must have isn't enough....
Then go ahead and tell them that their is an invisible person, that they can't ever see or hear, really cares for them more...
Like everyone else around them is worthless.

GOD Is Caring About Them. Not Just a (god). Tell Them That. Telling Them Now Is Better than Telling Them Years Later.

I don't teach my children anything that I don't personally believe in as I feel it is a lie. No tooth fairy. No imaginary friends. Nothing they will resent or perceive as a lie later in life when they discover the truth ~ their truth.
Instead of filling them with a belief that you do not adhere to I encourage you to fill them with security that you are always there to support them and build their confidence in self so they don't feel they *need* something outside of their self to protect them.

i think of you are able to have faith in God given which you have a incorrect view of God. God would not enable something. every physique has a call and that they make it. undesirable human beings do undesirable issues, God would not "do" something. Your depiction of God comes from the old testomony depiction. to understand God as an psychological thought you are able to first evaluate that God isn't unique to Christianity yet is widespread. God is all-powerful (all effective), omniscient (all understanding) and omnipresent (everywhere). God is countless and limitless. You look to think of that the thought of God as a entity with human features. it truly is the main errors of theism and atheism. This depiction of God is became no longer the God that Jesus suggested interior the recent testomony and is primitive and old. As for the bible. i became somewhat boy when I figured that the thoughts interior the bible are to no longer be taken actually. no person had to inform me this with the aid of fact i will see the ethical of the thoughts in on a regular basis life. And all of us understand Jesus wasn't loopy with the aid of fact loopy human beings do no longer sell love and goodwill to a minimum of one's fellow human beings, nor do they provide up there lives to save all of mankind. Im no longer attempting to insult you or something yet you're youthful, and in case you truly desire to understand the fact, you're able to do somewhat learn on how different religions have faith, truly than brushing off God altogether with the aid of fact the single faith you have been born into did no longer make experience to you.

A Higher Power does care for you and your children. Jesus Christ cared so much that He bore the shame of the Cross of Calvary for you and your children. He took your sins and their sins upon Himself so you and your children could be reconnected to God and receive eternal life if you believe in Christ Jesus.
It is so simple the road to Salvation is believing and Salvation itself is a free gift by a Savior who loves you and your children very much.
A Higher Power cares very much for your children. Accept Him today and ask Him to come into your heart and change your life and give you eternal life. He knows that you want your children to know Him and He knows that you want to know Him also. God says we are without excuse not to believe in Him. His creation declares who He is.
The best gift that you can give your children is a relationship with Jesus Christ.
