i don't get to see him but like once a day, and he never talks to me then. he hangs with all his friends then and totally ignores me, why? is he waiting for me to talk first?

Well, this can depend on how old you guys are. At about 12-15, a lot of guys don't know anything about being a boyfriend, and putting in time to be together. That being said though, if he does care about you, he should still be putting in some effort to talk to you, because he wants to. I would say you can try talking to him about it, and saying that you feel neglected. If he doesn't care or doesn't change, forget him.

Sounds like you need to move on. If he really wanted to be with you, friends, and other things would be 2nd to you.
