Um. Obviously, the prophecies concerning Armageddon are still for a future time. It will happen - indeed, there are some things going on today that look like they could perhaps be the fulfillment of those prophecies. Time will tell. The preachers who say the world will end in this year or that year (like the ones who said 2000 was the end lol) are full of manure - nobody knows when these things will happen. But when you see someone rebuild the Jewish temple and start up the sacrifice again, pay close attention. When you see a political leader stand up and make some kind of pact with Israel, take notice. Actually, that one's neat. Ever hear of Javier Solana? He is a bigwig in the EU and he tried, unsuccessfully, to make a 7-year peace pact with Israel. That was in 2005, I think he is still working toward that end. Anyways, these things are part of the prophecies in Revelation.
Other Bible prophecies have been fulfilled. Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies concerning the Messiah. Other prophecies concerning the rise and fall of certain empires have come true. I have no doubt but that these other ones will too.

Armageddon will only occur toward the end of the great tribulation when Antichrist rules the world. At that time no one will be able to buy or sell anything unless they have the "sign of the Antichrist" on their right hand or forehead.
Now with the internet, internationally usable credit cards, scanners and implantable computer chips it seems we are heading toward the time that the "sign of the Antichrist" is ready to be implanted and everyone will be under surveillance.
Another thing that will happen before the great tribulation is the Rapture of the followers of Jesus. Not all Bible scholars agree on the Rapture or the timing of it, but there are enough references in the Bible to indicate that the Rapture will happen before the great tribulation.. Like the following verse:
Revelation 3:10 "Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I WILL ALSO KEEP YOU FROM THE HOUR OF TRIAL that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth."

I only read the question. There is a difference between BEING a christian and acting as if one was a christian. Also, this question is only one-sided because many christians have done great things for society. Pointing, to one man or a select few is never a good way to make a point about a whole group of people.

If our Lord said, NO MAN knows the day or the hour, then no sane person would listen to a man, some do, but bare in mind, he also said, in the last days many would come tea hing false doctrines, we see that today. The days are winding down. And remember he also said, that in the last days, all the world will cry "peace peace" . What was that in the papers last week between the Jewish people and the Arabs?

You must not be referring to the New Testament that is an apology of how Jesus Christ fulfilled the OT Prophecies of the Messiah.
Everything Jesus predicted is happening. Re-read Matthew 24. The Jewish Temple was destroyed just as Jesus predicted. All the other things that must come have come as he predicted.
If you actually see the Armageddon on a live special report, you are toast. It is supposed to happen after nearly 1 Billion people disappear off of this planet. In the Panic a very Charismatic leader will make unprecedented Peace breakthroughs in the Middle East.
Keep watching the sky. Jesus is coming any time.

Huckleberry, if you had a brain you'd play with it.
In 1948, the Jews returned to Israel and in 1967 to Jerusalem.
The greatest prediction by Bible prophets and the countdown to Armageddon began.
The Six Day War in 1967 was by far the most miraculous war ever fought in history. One small nation against five nations and Israel won the war. God intervened many times to make this happen. Israel fought Arab Forces and these nations were contributors - Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Algeria. And Israel won the war in Six Days and the world can't see this as a miracle from Almighty God. All Arabs know that God gave the land of Israel to the Jewish people. Even Arab soldiers claimed to see Abraham's spirit stopping them from advancing. It is God who changes the hearts and minds and who can stand against God?
My friend, you do not want Armageddon to occur. It will be a nuclear war and if the Lord Jesus Christ doesn't return there will be no people left alive. God will gather every nation to the Valley of Decision.

Jude 1: 17
17 But you, my dear friends, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ told you, 18 that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to enjoy themselves in every evil way imaginable. 19 Now they are here, and they are the ones who are creating, divisions among you. They live by natural instinct because they do not have God's Spirit living in them.
Jude 1:14
"Look, the Lord is coming with thousands of his holy ones. He will bring the people of the world to judgment. He will convict the ungodly of all the evil things they have done in rebellion and of all the insults that godless sinners have spoken against him"
Guess what? It hasn't happened yet. Thankfully for you, you still have time. Hurry!!!! Read the Holy Bible and find out how to be saved, before you breath your last breath, because after your last breath, it will be too late!!!

They want it to happen and some of them are trying to cause it to happen. It is not a prophecy if you are the cause of Armageddon. Furthermore the only thing that is accomplished is the end of the human race. Nothing more will result, because there will not be some rescue by jesus.
