Saying that he wants "nothing" is a passive-aggressive way of telling you that he's tired of getting craptastic gifts every year...not your fault, that trend probably started with his family.

So whatever you get him this year better be a homerun. You answered your own question about what to get him: new wheels/bearings for his skates (maybe new skates?), season one of Dexter is out--get the "super bloody" edition or whatever they call it.

The obvious answer is take him to applebees. DUH!! People.. If it were that easy she would just have planned that. Go beyond the normal. Those are his fav things think beyond that. Take him Ice Skating. If he enjoys roller skating.. he'll enjoy ice skating but its not the obvious. Then instead of Applebees for dinner try to recreate his fav dish from there on your own. If your not skilled in that dept of cooking order curb side. If your not wanting to make a day out of it. Get creative and give him hand made gift cards for "ice skating with your fav snow bunny and dinner for two made by me" Go buy his fav show on dvd if they sell it . Open it up and put your gift card in the case. rewrap it with christmas wrapping!

Hello there. It appears to me that 1) you informed him you had children and he perceived to be given that fact (kids should not baggage, they're a part of you) 2) they've a capable father 3) You with ease want to supply him the opportunity to interact with them. If you'll make a long term commitment to this guy and he wishes children, Nicole is correct, what's going to these children be?? Will this subsequent child get everything from this man whilst the others surprise what's fair in lifestyles. You're a whole package deal, the amount of time you've your children for is inappropriate. As a single guardian myself, I made the first mistake of introducing my child to a woman before I knew if she was once proper for me. She wasn't and my child ignored her. Then, a 2nd time, I determined that the two would certainly not meet unless I used to be sure the relationship would final. It did not and i'm glad I made that selection. Now, within the relationship i am in, I consider wholly constructive that she shall be long run and that i don't have any hesitancy to introduce her to my daughter (now, my daughter is 13, so the outcome just isn't as dramatic) It does not seem like, headquartered on words or movements, that he desires any a part of your children and that will have to now not be cool with you, that would be a deal breaker. He does not have to be a dad, but he would ought to be some variety of authority figure. My ex-spouse is with anyone else and we tri-mother or father really good. The brand new partner doesn't have second classification popularity as a guardian, we're all equal. I would transfer on.

i think you shoud try ice skating and going out to dinner at applebees...for one if he really likes roller skating, then ice skating would be a good(new) experience for him, then afterwards, by taking him to his fav restuarant, it shows that you still know what he likes
