This guy asked me to go steady with him but I said no. It's not that I don't like him, I chop it up to not being ready to make the step. But now I fear I have heart his pride and confidence. I would like to pursue a relationship someday, but ever since I've said no he's been acting more distant toward me. What I'm asking is, how can I assure him that I am interested, just not ready to go steady? And how can I win back his love in order to keep the ball rolling?

"But now I fear I have heart his pride and confidence."

I meant to say hurt instead of heart.

I know what you mean. You kind've want take to the next step, but your just not ready to make that first jump. You need to talk to him, as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the more distant he'll become. You need to explain where your coming from , and what you want to do. Listen to what he has to say. And if he says he just can't do that. He probably isn't worth it.

Good Luck!

Rolling potential turning not directional shuttle, so in case you provide the ball some spin as you threw it, then confident it may save on "rolling"; except some great physique or an area gravity properly have been given interior the way.

So, by saying no, that's not what you actually meant? You just said "no" the the going steady question. You didn't say "no" to the relationship. It may be time to give him a call and take him out.
Your treat of course>>>lol

Tell him you want to take things slow and the last thing you want him to do is get the wrong idea. Let him know your interested in knowing him not necessarily interested in starting a relationship
