Germany has the19th largest army in the world with 285 thousand soldiers (not including reserves) - nearly twice that of Britain's but less than a quarter of the US'

After the treaty of Versailles which ended WWI Germany was supposed to have a much reduced army (no more than 100 thousand and no conscription), a much smaller navy (no more than 6 battleships) and no airforce, no artillery and no tanks.

does the pope **** in the woods? lol

seriously, yes, Germany has a heck of an army, they are one of the pillars of NATO, we made sure they could put up a fight if WW3 ever broke out in Germany (which is where it most likely would've during the cold war). we've cooperated on advanced tanks and weapons (the MBT-70 joint American-German tank eventually became both the American M1 Abrams and the German Leopard programs). the german military has BO-105 and (maybe) Eurocopter Tiger attack helicopters, they have Leopard 2 tanks, plus a number of infantry carriers, aircraft, guns, and ships. of course, i'm talking about the german military as a whole...

and never ever go by Wikipedia alone, come on, people, everyone [should] know Wiki is unreliable, if well organized

I think they do. I was just watching a show called Future Weapons, and they were demonstrating Germany's new artillery pieces. I hope Germany is on my side in the next World War.
