After all, he is supposedly "the Alpha and the Omega" AND "the Beginning and the End". His second coming is rumoured to be accompanied by wars, famine, disease and the end of the world. That sure doesnt' sound like "turning the other cheek".

Anyone who thinks that good and evil cannot co-exist in the same entity has obviously never had a Krispy Kreme Doughnut

Ever studied Jungian psychology? Every being has a light side and a shadow side. One cannot exist without the other, as already pointed out. Everything is based on polarities. Though to be fair, some spiritual paths try to take you to place of unity with pure light.

I think that what fundamentalists have turned him into is, yes.
I tend to regard their portrayal of him as "the demonic Jesus," actually, and have for several years. But most people don't understand what I mean by it so I don't usually say it publicly.

Very interesting. I haven't seen anybody else propose the idea quite the way you did.

There must be a definite relationship between the christ and the anti-christ.
So the anti-christ must be a leading christian who doesn`t follow the teachings of christ but actually realines them to his own interest.
Anyone come to mind..??

Why are you asking for that? Do you believe in Bible teachings with regards to the coming of Christ? If not, then you need to strenghten your faith. There is no such Anti-Christ in this world. The wars, famine, diseases, etc, are the pronouncements that the judgement day is near and we need to repent from our sins and go back to our faith in order fo us to be saved. Amen.

You can enrich yourself by studying the "Antichrist" subject.
No where in scripture does it say that it is a man, in fact it is not...Therefore your question is not valid.

I don't think so, but I am not sure. What I would like to know is, when did the current or 2 previous US presidents turn their other cheek to Milosevic, Dr. Karadzic, General Mladic, Dr. Seselj and other Serbian freedom fighters?

It's called a test, have you ever heard of one? Apparently God wants to make sure we are strong enough not to turn to the other side. Simple logic.

Certainly not. Jesus is the Christ, the anointed of God. He is not coming again to turn the other cheek. He is coming to rule and reign. The judment that oprecedes His coming is the result of sin.
